摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary membrane formed on one surface or both surfaces of a usual hydrogen permeable metal membrane to more enhance the hydrogen dissociation and separation capacity and a hydrogen dissociation and separation composite membrane covered with the auxiliary membrane enhancing hydrogen dissociation and separation capacity. SOLUTION: The auxiliary membrane for enhancing the hydrogen dissociation and separation capacity comprises a laminated membrane constituted of a Zr-Ni binary alloy base layer comprising Zr and Ni, the nickel enriched lower layer formed on the base layer high in Ni content as compared with the Zr-Ni binary alloy base layer formed on the surface of the base layer and the outermost surface layer comprising the mixed layer of zirconium oxide and Ni formed on the nickel enriched lower layer. This auxiliary membrane is formed on one surface or both surfaces of a usual hydrogen permeable metal film to obtain the hydrogen dissociation and separation composite membrane.
