PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine which can suitably massage a human body corresponding to a physique and positions of a human body. SOLUTION: This massage machine is equipped with a means to change a projecting amount of a therapeutical element 5 toward a human body side, a pressure detecting means to detect pressure applied on the therapeutical element 5 by a human body, and a moving means to vertically move the therapeutical element. A back shape of the human body is obtained from an output of the pressure detecting means upon vertically moving the therapeutical element 5 and a projecting amount of the therapeutical element 5 is controlled based on the obtained back shape of the human body. Pressure detected by the pressure detecting means during therapy by the therapeutical element 5 and a preset standard value of pressure are compared to correct a projection amount of the therapeutical element 5.
