PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top guide with which even a slight fish bite of a terminal tackle is readily recognized at night, or the like. SOLUTION: The top guide 10 has a top guide body part 11, a standing part 12 which stands in the oblique direction while being connected to the tip side of the body part 11 and is provided with a through hole, a piezoelectric element 14 arranged in the inner peripheral surface of the through hole of the standing part 12 and a hard ring 15 inserted through the piezoelectric element 14 into the through hole. An illuminant 18 is mounted on the back side of the standing part 12. On the other hand, a voltage detection means 16 for detecting voltage from the piezoelectric element 14 and a power source 17 are stored in the body part 11. The detection means 16 detects the voltage generated in the piezoelectric element 14, sends an electric current from the power source 17 to an illuminant 18 to make the illuminant 18 emit light.
