PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a lever arm is beaten to produce noises, when a dropper is driven to a straw-discharging side through the lever arm intermittently driven by the rotation of a drive cam and then quickly returned to a straw-collecting side by the force of a spring. SOLUTION: A straw-discharging apparatus of a combine harvester is characterized by driving a dropper 1 against the force of a spring 3 through a lever arm 5 intermittently driven by the rotation of a drive cam 4 and shifting the drive cam 4 or the lever arm 5 to place the lever arm 5 at a position outside the rotation area of the drive cam 4, thus stopping the driving of the dropper 1.
