PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing corn silk tea by processing corn silk known to be effective treating and preventing diuretic effects, cholelithiasis, diabetes or the like is provided. The user can easily use a tea bag containing corn silk tea by pouring it in hot water. CONSTITUTION: Corn silk collected during Jul. and Aug. is washed, cut to a specified size, steamed and then dried at 20 to 40deg.C. The dried corn silk is also freeze-dried in the second stage and packed into a tea bag. The tea bag can contain Lycii Cortex Radicis, Cnidii Rhizoma, Puerariae Radix, Mume Fructus and root of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertner.
