<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a gas diffusion electrode which keeps specific volume resistivity, thermal conductivity, and gas permeability proper and is excellent in handling ability, and to provide a fuel cell using the gas diffusion electrode. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the gas diffusion electrode comprises a step in which a sheet of paper is made from slurry; and a step in which the made sheet of paper is heated and dried, where the slurry including solid matter is prepared by bringing (A) conductive powder of 50-90 mass %, (B) carbon fibers of 5-50 mass %, (C) organic fibers of 3-40 mass %, and (D) resin of 5-40 mass % together so as to make 100 mass %. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
