<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punching device having a power source in which even when the blade tip of a tool hits a hard stone and power consumption of an electric motor becomes excessive during a punching work of concrete etc., revolution of the electric motor is not lowered and punching work can be continued at high speed, and thereby work efficiency can be greatly improved. <P>SOLUTION: A battery module in which a plurality of lithium ion polymer secondary batteries are connected in series is used as a power source for a punching device. Each lithium ion polymer secondary battery comprises adhesion layers 14, 18 containing a binder made of a polymer compound in which the binder is denaturalized by a denaturalizing substance, and a conductive substance, between a positive electrode current collector 12 and a positive electrode active material 13 and between a negative electrode current collector 16 and a negative electrode active material 17. A negative electrode sheet 15 is folded up at least once or more times and a plurality of positive electrode sheets 11 which have respectively an area corresponding to the folded-up area are interposed between the polymer electrolyte layers 19 excluding the folding portion. The adhesion between the current collector and active material layer can be increased and discharge capacity expanded, thereby providing a punching device having large output and high revolution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
