<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a Ca-Ba-Sr-Ti-Zr-O perovskite-type complex-based dielectric ceramic composition easily causes the grain growth in firing under a reducing atmosphere to easily deteriorate the mechanical strength. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition is obtained by firing a mixture prepared by adding an accessory component into a main component under a non-oxidizing atmosphere to sinter and after that, firing under an oxidizing atmosphere at a temperature lower than that in the previous firing to oxidize. The main component is composed of a material expressed by (Ca<SB>1-x</SB>L<SB>x</SB>)k(Zr<SB>1-y</SB>Ti<SB>y</SB>)O<SB>3</SB>(where, L is Ba and/or Sr; (x) is 0.1-0.9: (k) is 0.9-1.1; (y) is 0.15-0.50). The accessory component is composed of SiO<SB>2</SB>, Mn<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and MO (MO is one or more kind of oxides selected from CrO<SB>2/3</SB>, NiO, CoO<SB>3/2</SB>and VO<SB>5/2</SB>) and contains 0.1-5 wt.% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.1-3 atom% expressed as Mn and 0.05-2 atom% expressed as M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
