<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device relating to the constitution of a grating and a coupling lens arranged at the emitting port of the laser diode of an optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical pickup provided with the coupling lens 7 for adjusting the spread angle of the light beams so as to efficiently utilize the light beam from the laser diode 2, the coupling lens 7 is made of prescribed first synthetic resin and a prescribed optical element other than the coupling lens 7 provided in the optical pickup is made of second synthetic resin having temperature compensation characteristics to the first synthetic resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
