<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten an image formation time for a plurality of sheets by making an apparatus simple in the structure and small in the number of components without making the apparatus large. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes a reading means 11 capable of reading a plurality of originals continuously, a cut sheet tray 15 for storing cut sheets, a rolled sheet tray 14 for storing rolled sheets R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>, a lateral cutting means 16 for cutting in a direction orthogonal to a transfer direction of sheets, an imaging means 17 capable of forming and arranging images at a time in the direction orthogonal to the transfer direction of sheets by forming the images by toner on the basis of a plurality of continuously read originals, a fixing means 18 for fixing formed images, a vertical cutting means 19 for cutting to divide a plurality of images formed on the sheet in the transfer direction, and the like.
