<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform the unmanned conveying of an article from loading to unloading through storage, while effectively utilizing a storage space in a warehouse to the maximum, and in particular, to surely unload the article on scheduled date and hour. <P>SOLUTION: This high-rise warehouse comprises at least one loading port 21a and one unloading port 21b, and an article storage part 20 having at least one storage layer wherein unit article storage parts are arranged in line. This high-rise warehouse further comprises an article transferring means respectively mounted on each of the unit article storage parts 21 for selecting a stored article (rack) R from any direction and receiving/feeding out the same, and a transfer control means for guiding the stored article R to the unloading port 21b before the unloading date and hour of the stored article R, when the stored article R is conveyed from the loading port 21a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
