<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stretch a string by a general purpose string stretcher in stretching the string in a racket frame having a long ball hitting surface. <P>SOLUTION: This adapter for stretching the string is substantially U-shaped. In the adapter, a frame abutting projecting part abutted on the inner surface of a vertex of a head part of a yoke or the rachet frame is projected at one end in the longitudinal direction of a connecting plate, the frame abutting surface is recessed like a circular arc according to the shape of the yoke (frame), a tool abutting projecting part abutted to a fixing tool of the string stretcher is projected at the other end thereof, and the adapter is interposed between the fixing tool of the string stretcher for stretching the string and the racket frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
