PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively display the measured value of the average traveling speed, traveling time, etc., of a vehicle in a section without requiring the installation of an acceleration sensor by using the arithmetic information on the output of a car speed/distance sensor. SOLUTION: A touring meter is provided with the car speed/distance sensor 11 which measures the traveling speed of a vehicle, such as an automobile, motorcycle, and a computing means 6 which calculates the average traveling speed of the vehicle in a set section based on the car speed measured by means of the sensor 1 and causes a displaying means 8 to display the computed result of the computing means 6 by means of a display driver 7.
