PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the trouble involved in the change in compression ratio of an engine. SOLUTION: At an increase in compression ratio (εi>ε(i-1)), an opening-increasing drive signal is outputted to a throttle valve driving actuator 63 (step S330) to forcedly increase the intake air quantity. In such a compression ratio-increasing state, the blow-by gas quantity to an intake pipe 50 is increased, and the air-fuel mixture carried into a combustion chamber is transited to fuel excessive side. However, since the intake air quantity is increased, such an excessive fuel is suppressed, and the disturbance of the fuel/air ratio carried to the combustion chamber after the increasing change of compression ratio is suppressed.
