PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter in which a life time of a battery i.e. a power source is made predictable. SOLUTION: A flow measuring part 4 intermittently measures an instant flow rate of a fluid passing through a conduit 11. A pulsation determination means 5b equipped in a controller 5 monitors the presence of a pressure pulsation. When the pressure pulsation is detected, a mode selecting means 5a indicates the flow measuring part 4 that a time interval for measuring the instant flow rate is to be shorter than that when no pressure pulsation is detected. A measuring interval integrating means 5e integrates in a memory 7 both the time intervals when the pressure pulsation is detected and not detected, and a battery consumption operating means 5d calculates product of each interval and its corresponding unit electricity consumption and calculates a grand sum as a battery consumption.
