PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle storage ratio improving system which satisfies various conditions without relying on the experience of a skilled person or requiring a manual calculation. SOLUTION: The vehicle storage ratio improving system is comprised of tables 12, 13 and 14, an input means 15, an arithmetic section 16, a comparing section 17, and a determining section 18. The tables store information concerning a parking space, storable vehicle types, and a standard duration for each vehicle loading/unloading work item. The input means inputs the number N of stored vehicles, limited duration Ta necessary for loading/unloading all the vehicles, etc. The arithmetic section calculates total vehicle loading duration Tx necessary for continuously loading all the N vehicles to be loaded, and total vehicle unloading duration Ty necessary for continuously unloading all the N vehicles loaded in an apparatus based on the information of the tables 12, 13 and 14. The comparing section compares the value Ta with the values Tx and Ty while progressively increasing the number n of the vehicles to be rotated out of the N vehicles at the time of loading. The determining section determines the numerals N and n when the values Tx and Ty are equal to or smaller than the value Ta and at the same time at least one of them is equal to or smaller than the value Ta and closest to the same.
