PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating power supply device comprising a simple circuit by reducing the number of part items of the circuit as much as possible, with little noise to a power supply side and which is reduced in size and price. SOLUTION: Prescribed ions are generated, such that a pulse voltage is applied to the primary side of a pulse transformer 12 of a high turn ratio; a charging capacitor 21 and a high-voltage diode 22 are connected in series with the secondary side of the pulse transformer 12; a discharging electrode 14 is connected to both ends of the high-voltage diode 22; and a high voltage, which is obtained by superposing a voltage charged in the charging capacitor 21 to a high voltage generated at the secondary side of the pulse transformer 12, is applied to the discharging electrode 14, and is subjected to corona discharge.
