COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR EXTRACTING KEYWORD FROM SENTENCE DESCRIBED IN JAPANESE ,AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM RECORDED WITH THE COMPUTER PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a storage capacity used for the extraction of a keyword by providing a computer program for extracting the keyword without using a Japanese dictionary and to further cope with a new term even without updating the Japanese dictionary. SOLUTION: Words and phrases of a sentence are decomposed while deleting them by using two kinds of deleted words and phrase tables. Parts of speech which can not become the keyword are arranged in order the large number of characters. When this word and phrase are included, the word and phrase are deleted from the sentence and the sentence is divided into two on the border of a position where the word and phrase exist. The sentence is divided by repeating the same processing also for the divided sentence. A second deleted word and phrase table is constituted of words and phrases which can not become the keyword by themselves. When the sentence after the termination of division by the first deleted word and phrase table coincides with the second deleted word and phrase table, the sentence is deleted. Thus, the appearance frequency of the remaining words and phrases in the sentence is calculated and the words and phrase with a higher appearance frequency are defined as the keywords.
