PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device preventing the incidence of illuminating light into an optical member from the end face of the optical member to be inspected. SOLUTION: This inspection device 100 for photographing while illuminating the optical member 10 and inspecting the optical member 10 based on an acquired image, is provided with a holding part 106 for holding the optical member 10, and an illuminating part 102 for illuminating the optical member 10 held to the holding part 106. The holding part 106 has light shielding parts 142, 154 for shielding a part of illuminating light from the illuminating part 102. The light shielding parts 142, 154 prevent the illuminating light from being reflected by a part of the holding part 106 and incident to the optical member 10 from the end face of the optical member 10 facing the holding part 106.
