PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shouldering frame of a shouldering type work machine for surely protecting a fuel tank and a fuel tube from an obstacle, easily attaching-detaching an engine, and superior in assembling performance and maintenability. SOLUTION: This shouldering frame of the shouldering type work machine is attached with the engine and the fuel tank. The shouldering frame has a housing part for housing the fuel tank in front of the shouldering frame, and is characterized in that the housing part has a frame for covering a side surface of the fuel tank, and the fuel tank is a fuel tank having a through-hole for exposing the shaft end of a support shaft for rotatably journaling the engine to the shouldering frame in a state of being housed in the housing part of the shouldering frame.
