PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler attached to a snow melting water spray pipe, which is epoch-making and has a very high commercial value. SOLUTION: The sprinkler is formed of a slipout preventive engaging section 3 and a water restricting section 4. The slipout preventive engaging section 3 is inserted into a spray hole 1a formed in a peripheral surface of the snow melting water spray pipe 1 such as a snow melting hose or a snow melting pipe, from the outside, and engages with the interior of the spray hole 1a. The water restricting section 4 is formed at an upper portion of the slipout preventive engaging section 3, for blocking spray water blowing out of the spray hole 1a and restricting a spraying direction in a radially horizontal direction.
