PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projected window allowing a sash to be opened/closed, locked and released from lock at the same time. SOLUTION: A sash opening/closing apparatus 3 for the projected window is provided with an operating shaft 15 for opening/closing the sash; a first arm 17 rotatably provided at a lower frame member 1a and rotated by the operating shaft 15; and a second arm 18 rotatably connected to its intermediate part of length to the tip of the first arm 17 and connected in a laterally movable manner at both ends to the lower frame member 1a and a lower rail 2a. The side end of the lower frame member 1a of the second arm 18 is provided with a locking member 19 rotatable around a vertical axis and engaged with the sash 2 in the closed position to lock the sash 2. The lower frame member 1a is provided with a locking means for rotating the locking member 19 in the engaging direction to be engaged with the sash when the sash 2 is rotated in the closing direction from the vicinity of the closed position, and rotating the locking member 19 in the anti-engaging direction when the sash 2 is opened from the closed position.
