摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PAPI monitoring device for precisely and quickly detecting dislocation of a transition layer without precisely adjusting a position for detecting the transition layer of an indicating lamp. SOLUTION: This PAPI (PAPI : Precision Approach Path Indicator) monitoring device 24 is composed of a camera unit 25 for imaging an image by receiving a light signal 22 from the indicating lamp 20, a camera driving part 41 for vertically moving this camera unit 25 on a base 26, a camera position detecting part 42 for detecting position information of this camera driving part 41, an image processing part 43 for detecting the number of transition layers of brightness or a color and lamp units of indicating lamps 20, an initial value storage part 45 for storing a position of a camera as an initial value and a transition layer movement determining part 44 for determining a moving distance by comparing the position information of the camera position detecting part with position information of the initial value storage part 45 when the image processing part 43 detects the transition layer and comparing the number of light emitting sources of the indicators 20 with the specified number.
