摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the point of purchase advertisement capable of being replaced for the conventional customer-care technique by a sales assistant, and to advise a method of use by each shop. <P>SOLUTION: This method is provided to create POP by accessing a POP creation support server comprising a commodity master database, a POP selection table, a number of characters definition table and a POP database from a shop terminal. This method comprises a step for updating contents of the commodity master database, a step for creating the POP in accordance with rules of the POP selection table and the number of characters defining table on the updated commodity, a step for storing the created POP in the POP database, a step for reading at least a part of the POP stored in the POP database and correcting the read POP in accordance with the rules of the POP selection table and the number of character definition table, a step for retrieving the POP database and reading the desired POP stored therein, and a step for printing the retrieved POP. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
