<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat reversible color developing composition which can widen a temperature width where transparency is obtained, can obtain an enough image erasing property and a high contrast even when environmental temperature is changed, and can obtain a sufficient white turbidity even when it is stored in the presence of a basic substance. <P>SOLUTION: The heat reversible color developing composition comprises a resin matrix and an organic low molecular weight substance dispersed in the resin matrix, and the transparency can be reversibly changed depending on temperature. As the organic low molecular weight substance, a straight chain hydrocarbon-containing compound (A) with no specified carboxyl group and a straight chain hydrocarbon-containing compound (B) with a melting point of at least 20°C lower than the melting point of the straight chain hydrocarbon-containing compound (A) and with no carboxyl group, are used by mixing them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
