PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact container (1) for easily heat and pressure-treating an article through a heat/pressure transfer medium of liquid.

SOLUTION: The container (1) includes a composite sleeve made of an outer cylinder (5), and a ceramic cup-shaped inner cylinder (7) having a cavity (4) for filling the article provided to be inscribed with the outer cylinder and the heat/pressure transfer medium of the liquid; heaters (9, 9a) mounted in the container for heating the heat/pressure transfer medium of the liquid in the cavity; and a channel (19) provided connectibly to an external booster for pressurizing the heat/pressure transfer medium of the liquid in the cavity in a wall (13) provided at least at one end of the sleeve to seal or open the cavity.
