<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a layer of a polymer electric field luminescent material having controlled thickness and surface uniformity. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for forming the layer of the polymer electric field luminescent material, (a) the polymer electric field luminescent material is supplied to a container; (b) fluid is supplied to the container; (c) the fluid and the polymer electric field luminescent material are compressed and heated inside the container, a thermodynamically stable or metastable mixture is formed; (d) the thermodynamically stable or metastable mixture is sprayed toward the surface to vaporize the fluid; and (e) the polymer electric field luminescent material is attached to the surface as a luminous layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
