<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prescription operation support system constructed by connecting a computer owned by a medical institution, a center computer for supporting prescription operation and a computer owned by a dispensing pharmacy with an electronic network. <P>SOLUTION: Computer systems of a medical institution 2, an Internet data center 3, the dispensing pharmacy 4, a health insurance society 6 and a national health insurance society 7 of a local authority are connected by the Internet 5 and the like. Data recorded in an insurance IC card 9 are read by using an IC card read-writer and the like and qualification of a patient is authenticated at the Internet data center 3 by using the data and electronic prescription data are sent and received between the computer systems of the medical institution 2 and the like. Hence, operation for storing data in the dispensing system 30 by data input operation with a computer at the dispensing pharmacy 4 can be omitted, and thus incorrect input and the like can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
