<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave receiver and a radio-controlled timepiece capable of easy multi-frequency reception with one radio wave receiving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: In a radio wave receiver 917 capable of receiving radio waves of two frequencies i.e. frequencies f1, f2, a local oscillation frequency is set so as to satisfy a formula f0=(f1+f2)/2. A CPU 80 detects the frequency of the strongest signal among signals received by an antenna 1, and outputs a signal S2 to a frequency converting circuit 4, according to the detected frequency. The circuit 4 composes a signal inputted from a high-frequency amplifier circuit 3 with a signal having the local oscillation frequency f0, according to the signal S2 inputted from the CPU 80, and outputs a signal having an intermediate frequency fi. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
