<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a managing server which enables the message exchange between clients at a high real time level and makes communications efficient. <P>SOLUTION: The managing server 13 receives request information from a client 11 in communication with the client according to a request/response type communication protocol such as HTTP, etc., calculates the polling time taken for transmitting the next request information about the client at the information transmission source, and returns information of the calculated polling time involved in response information against the request information to the client 11.
