PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user (traveler) who normally used a ticket barrier to receive detailed guidance regarding a train that the user gets on by using a portable terminal such as a cellular phone that the user has. SOLUTION: The guidance system comprises: a display board that is installed at a specific location such as a station yard for displaying a specific guidance; and the portable terminal that the user has, communicates with the display board or a managing machine for managing/controlling the display board, and displays detailed guidance information regarding a specific guidance on the display board.
