ELECTRODE AND METHOD FOR ELECTRICALLY STAKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for working and forming a staked part having suitable bonding strength after electrically staking using an electrically staking electrode and a suitable method of electrical staking using this electrically staking electrode.

SOLUTION: In the electrically staking electrode 1 which is used for fixing a member to be joined to a member to be staked, pressurizing the staked part 15a of the member to be staked projected through a hole of the member to be joined and energizing the staked part 15a, this electrically staking electrode 1 made of tungsten on which a concave part 12 having a concave curved surface so that the hole 11 is covered is provided on the pressurizing surface where is brought into contact with the staked part 15a of the member to be staked. The volume of the concave part 12 is not less than the volume of the staked part 15 of the member to be staked.
