<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin power supply terminal for a surface heater which prevents heat generation at electrode portions due to the degradation of connection of electrode connecting parts of the surface heater, and allows for maintaining good connection between electrodes on a board and electrode terminals, and to provide the surface heater equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply terminal for the surface heater is provided with the electrode terminals supplying power to the electrodes on the board, and metal fixtures for fixing the electrode terminals on the backside of the board where the electrodes are formed on the front side. The electrode terminals are composed of elastic material and have a valley-shaped concavely curved surface, the opposite surface to the valley-shaped concavely curved surface thereof contacting the electrodes. The metal fixtures for fixing the electrode terminals are composed of elastic material and have a valley-shaped concavely curved surface, the surface opposite to the valley-shaped concavely curved surface thereof contacting the board. The electrode terminals and the metal fixtures are so fixed with fixing members that the electrode terminals are pressed to the electrodes of the board. The electrode terminals have power-cord connecting parts connecting conductors of the power cord, and power-cord fixing parts fixing the entire or part of power-cord sheaths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
