<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector as improvement of a conventional type of such a structure that a projection formed on each contact extends upward from the outer edge in the width direction of the contact (bored in the same direction) and is fitted by pressure in one contact inserting hole formed in a housing, involving such problems as weak for a prying force directed upward, easy to slip off in the direction downward, difficult to secure the L-length, and difficult to make location of the contact (abutting). <P>SOLUTION: The electric connector A is equipped with the housing mounted on a circuit board and accommodating a plurality of contacts and a sliding member installed in the housing slidably and structured so that a flexible board accepted by the housing is pinched resiliently between the sliding member and the contacts for generating electric connection between the flexible board and the contacts, wherein a projection 1d is provided in the thickness direction of the contacts 1, and a recess to accept the projection 1d is formed in the contact inserting hole 2a in the housing 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
