<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transportation facility for increasing a travelling speed further at a curve section of a travelling passage. <P>SOLUTION: When a carriage 3 runs the curve section on a travelling rail 1, a transferring/installing conveyer device 12 of the carriage 3 is constructed so that, in accordance with the travelling speed, posture control is performed for an inward posture, that is, a posture inclined inward to the curve section, by an eccentricity cam 38. Thus, with the transferring/installing conveyer device 12 being controlled to take the inward posture at the curve section, it can be prevented that the carriage 3 falls outward of the curve section by inertial even if the travelling speed of the carriage 3 is increased in the curve section and the carrying capacity for one carriage 3 can be improved. Also, when the travelling speed of the carriage 3 is decreased at the curve section or the carriage stops, an article R, which is being carried, can be prevented from slipping off by recovering the posture of the carriage 3 to the original one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
