<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strengthen an electric field between a pixel electrode and a counter electrode without increasing electric potential between the pixel electrode and the counter electrode. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of electrodes are disposed adjacent to a pixel region of the surface on a liquid crystal side of one substrate of respective substrates disposed opposite to each other via a liquid crystal. The one electrode and the other electrode are formed at an upper layer and a lower layer of an insulating layer, respectively, and the other electrode is laminated together with an another layer by using the other electrode as an upper layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
