PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact steering device for adequately supporting a Y-shaped rack spindle. SOLUTION: A rack spindle 110 has a rolling surface 110b opposite to a rack tooth 110a across the axis X, and a pair of inclined surfaces 110c extending parallel to both sides across the rolling surface along the axis, and comprises a roller 123 rolling on the rolling surface 110b of the rack spindle and an urging member 130 abutted on the pair of inclined surfaces to give the urging force. The urging member is fitted to a housing 101 in an annular shape surrounding the rack spindle around the entire circumference, and has an abutting part 130b abutted on the pair of inclined surfaces to give the urging force. As a cylindrical roller 123 is abutted on the rolling surface, the force received by the rack spindle from a pinion 103a is supported, the urging force is given to the pair of inclined surfaces of the rack spindle from the abutting part of the urging member, and the rotational displacement around the axis of the rack spindle is suppressed.
