PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination structure for a push-button, capable of uniformly shining the push-button without intensely shining a part of it, and to provide an electronic apparatus having the push-button. SOLUTION: A push-button switch mechanism is provided with a base 28 wherein an electronic circuit is assembled, a metal plate contact 26 provided on this base, a translucent push-button part having a push part 25 disposed on the opening of the casing of an electronic apparatus so that it can be pushed from the outside to make contact with an external side key-top 22 and the metal plate contact 26 formed on a rubber sheet 24, and a light emitting element 27 disposed on the base in the peripheral area of the push part 25 to irradiate light to the side of the push part 25. The push part 25 takes the shape of a cone having an upper surface almost matching to the lower part of the key-top 22 as a bottom surface and a contact part making contact with the metal plate contact 26 as a top, and light irradiated from the light emitting element 27 enters into the entire surface of the side of the pusher part 25.
