PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a lens-fitted photographic film unit with different shutter speeds. SOLUTION: A light shielding cylinder having a stopper on its upper face and a light shielding cylinder having no stopper are prepared, the former cylinder is used for a fast shutter speed and the latter cylinder is used for a slow shutter speed. When the cylinder is provided with a stopper, a pressing projection of a shutter blade turning in response to the shutter release presses the upper contact chip of a synchronizing switch and brings the contact chip into contact with the lower contact chip to emit strobe light, and the lower contact chip abuts on the stopper to inhibit the rotation of the shutter blade in the midway to give a fast shutter speed. When the cylinder is not provided with a stopper, the turning angle of the shutter blade increases to give a slow shutter speed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
