PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor which improves a variation in electrostatic charge and sensitivity characteristics due to humidity variation when a titanyl phthalocyanine pigment or the like is used, ensures no fogging and is free of occurrence of image defects such as black spots and an environmental memory, and to provide an image forming method using the organic photoreceptor and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: In the organic photoreceptor having an intermediate layer and a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, the intermediate layer comprises a polyamide resin in which the ratio (A/B) of volume resistivity (A) at 30°C and 80% RH to volume resistivity (B) at 10°C and 20% RH is 1-1/100.
