PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron beam block mechanism capable of quickly stopping electron beam and a block mechanism without limit in the electron beam block duration Toff. SOLUTION: A motor is driven on the ground side and a generator on the high-voltage side is rotated by an insulated shaft for supplying filament power, an electromagnetic brake is provided to the motor for supplying filament power, the motor current is interrupted for stopping the electron beam with the motor rotation is quickly stopped by the electromagnetic brake and the filament power is made to be zero, and accordingly, generation of thermoelectron is prevented for making the electron beam to be zero.
