PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low cost, a low noise and enhancement of an efficiency and reliability of a heat source device mainly used for heating/cooling in home and to retain a property against environment while avoiding a difficult problem, i.e., complete sealing of a compressor. SOLUTION: A reciprocating compressor 21 of Rankine cycle 2 is integrally formed on dispresser type Stirling engine 1. Liquified carbon dioxide and helium gas are separated by a separator 27 provided on the exit side of an expansion valve 26 and this separated helium gas is recirculated to the Stirling engine 1. Accordingly, an operation fluid is not leaked to the outside even if it is internally leaked from the reciprocating compressor 21 and the Stirling engine 1 and the Rankine cycle 2 can be operated by the approximately optimum operation fluid.
