PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for producing a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate at a low cost, by which the amount of a catalyst used is greatly reduced and which has excellent economic efficiency and in which an operation is simple, the catalyst is readily reused, a high catalyst recovery ratio is secured and sufficient catalytic reaction efficiency is achieved. SOLUTION: In the method for producing the hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate by reacting (meth)acrylic acid with an alkylene oxide in the presence of the catalyst, the reaction solution obtained by distilling away the hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate and adding a new catalyst thereto is used in the next reaction.
