PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which has an excellent moisture-retaining property and an excellent touch. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is characterized by containing (A) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of lactic acid and lactates, (B) one or more compounds selected from solid oils having melting points of≥40°C, and (C) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of methylphenylpolysiloxane and dimethylpolysiloxane having a viscosity of 10 to 1,000 cST at 25°C.
