PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pad for a core drill capable of effectively preventing occurrence of noise in boring. SOLUTION: A pad comprises a water treating pad (pad for core drilling) 2 to be installed at a boring position when the boring is carried out with a core drill 1 equipped with a core bit 15. The water treating pad 2 comprises a pad main body 20 installed so as to surround the boring position and a sound proof cover 30 to be freely detachably attached to a pad main body 20. The sound proof cover 30 comprises a cylinder 31 surrounding a shank 15a of the core bit 15 and a cover body 32 covering one side opening part of a cylindrical body 31. An inserting through hole 32 a through which a driving rod 15b for connecting the core bit is formed to a cover body 32. Thereby, the whole shank 15a of the core bit 15 is covered by the cylinder 31 and the cover body 32 of the sound proof cover 30 and in boring, transmission to outside of sound generated by the shank 15a is surely interrupted.
