The eccentric fixing for fixing a bearing (2) on a console (3) comprises a plate (8) with two tabs (9, 10) which in the assembly state engage through slit-like recesses in a console bracket (3). The plate has an opening and the console has an opening and a fixing bolt (12) with shaft (13) and eccentric head (14) passes through the openings and bearing (2) whereby the bearing is tensioned and the eccentric head is positioned between the tabs which protrude from the slit like recesses. The console is fixed on a vehicle or can be formed integral with a vehicle body.
