<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system capable of properly acquiring information regarding a musical piece in a broadcast program. <P>SOLUTION: A data server 3 stores program information on programs broadcast by a broadcasting station 5 and related information regarding musical pieces broadcast in the programs in a database. An audio apparatus 1, on the other hand, receives a broadcast program of the broadcasting station 5 and when a user presses a prescribed request key while a musical piece is broadcast, the apparatus generates request information including information showing the broadcasting station and information indicating the current time and transmits it to the data server 3. The data server 3, once receiving the request information, specifies the musical piece by retrieving the database to obtain related information regarding the specified musical piece. Then the acquired related information is distributed to the audio apparatus 1. The audio apparatus 1 displays the distributed related information at a display part and reproduces musical piece data on a streaming basis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
