<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visually inspect color qualities (color temperature, color rendering property) of a light source and its relations with CIE standard light sources, and easily determine how color characteristics of different eyes of individuals differ. <P>SOLUTION: In comparisons between an achromatic color standard of neutral gray having a flat wave and mixed achromatic colors metameric to the achromatic color standard under various CIE light sources, color characteristics of a visually isochromatic mixed achromatic color reveals various color qualities (chromaticity, color temperature, color rendering property) of a light source. From a chart position of a mixed achromatic color having the same chromaticity as the achromatic color standard under a predefined light source, the direction and degree of color characteristic deviation of eyes of each individual can be determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
