OBJECT STRIKING IMPLEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object striking implement improving vibration damping on a grip part (handle) in batting.

SOLUTION: The vibration in a tubular grip part of an object striking implement such as a hand tool and a baseball bat is damped by a vibration damper having a support part provided in and engaged with the grip part. The vibration damper also has a resilient second part which cushions contact of the damper with the grip part wall surface and which moves inwardly of the grip part in a direction generally traverse to the longitudinal axis of the grip part.
