PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mechanically remove impurities remaining on the surfaces of toner particles formed as particles in an aqueous medium and to provide toner particles free of a variation in electrostatic chargeability even in an environment at high temperature and high humidity or during continuous image formation on more than hundreds of thousand of sheets and giving stable image quality free of fog and image unevenness. SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing an electrostatic charge image developing toner has a screen having slits which pass a slurried toner dispersion liquid obtained by forming particles in an aqueous medium.
